Fighter Bomber Wing 35 was stationed at Pferdsfeld AB located near the river Nahe in the Hunsrück region of South-West Germany.

The F-4F Phantom was flown here from 1975 until 1997.
 

Fighter Bomber Wing 36 „Westfalen“ was stationed at Hopsten AB north of Münster in Westphalia. As a result of the tight relationship with its host region the wing received the honorable name of “Westphalia” (Westfalen) in 1984.

The F-4F Phantom was flown at Hopsten from 1975 until 2005.
